From the forests
of La Cuesta
The Ramón tree — Brosimum alicastrum — has been growing in the forests of Jalisco long before anyone thought to call it a superfood. For thousands of years, communities in the Sierra Madre knew what it was worth. They ground the seeds, they brewed them, they fed their families with the flour. We're not reinventing anything. We're just paying attention.
Our Capomo comes from La Cuesta, Jalisco — a small community in the Sierra Madre where the trees grow tall and the soil is still good. The farmers there work with the land, not against it. No monocultures, no shortcuts. The forest stays intact, and the seeds are better for it.
What ends up in your cup started as a seed in a canopy tree in the mountains of Jalisco. That's the whole chain. We think that's worth knowing.
